MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Learning from those who have paved the way

Through mentorship, KPWA brings members together with trusted leaders and executive coaches, creating space to learn, reflect, and grow as leaders.

MENTOR INFORMATION

What to expect

As a mentor, you offer perspective shaped by experience, while learning alongside someone at a different stage of their journey.

The mentorship relationship creates space for reflection, meaningful conversation, and shared growth. This is an opportunity to give back to the community in a way that feels personal, thoughtful, and impactful.

Roles & expectations of a mentor

Mentorship works best when mentors approach the role with intention, openness, and care.

Offer perspective, not answers

Mentors share experiences and insights rather than prescriptive solutions, helping mentees reflect and navigate their own professional paths.

Commit to the relationship

Testimonials

My original thought going into this program as a Mentor was that I would ‘give’ more than the ‘Mentee'. However, I found the experience just as rewarding.

The program gave me the opportunity to self-reflect as I opened up about previous experiences that resonated with the one I was mentoring. I am always in awe of how much young professionals want to hear from seniors and I encourage other senior professionals to take part in this meaningful experience.
